Bacteriostatic Water

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, which inhibits bacterial growth and allows a vial to be drawn from multiple times over a period of up to 28 days after first puncture. It is the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilised research peptides.
