What is Kisspeptin?<\/h2>\n

Kisspeptin is a neuropeptide encoded by the KISS1 gene that plays a central role in the regulation of reproductive hormone signaling. It was first identified in cancer research for its metastasis-suppressing properties, but has since become one of the most studied peptides in reproductive endocrinology. Kisspeptin acts as the upstream trigger for the entire reproductive hormone cascade, making it a critical compound for fertility and endocrine research.<\/p>\n

Mechanism of Action<\/h2>\n

Kisspeptin binds to the GPR54 (KISS1R) receptor on GnRH neurons in the hypothalamus, stimulating the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH).
